Domestic Couple – Private Residence

 

Oxfordshire, UK

 

Location: Oxfordshire, UK

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

​

A prestigious private estate in Oxfordshire is seeking a highly experienced domestic couple to join their household in a long-term, full-time capacity. This is a hands-on, service-focused role requiring professionalism, adaptability, and a strong background working within high-net-worth households. The couple will work together across all aspects of maintaining the estate and supporting the principals’ lifestyle, combining responsibilities such as driving, property upkeep, housekeeping, front-of-house, and occasional service.

Key Responsibilities

 

Chauffeur / Houseman / Butler:

 

  • Drive principals to appointments and events as required

  • Oversee general upkeep of the property and liaise with contractors

  • Support household operations, including table service and events

  • Maintain household inventories and oversee deliveries

  • Ensure a high level of discretion and household security

 

Housekeeper / Front-of-House / Service:

 

  • Maintain daily cleanliness of the home to five-star standards

  • Laundry and wardrobe care, including packing/unpacking for travel

  • Prepare guest rooms and assist during visits

  • Provide front-of-house service and informal hospitality

  • Assist with seasonal décor and home presentation​

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience working as a domestic couple in UHNW households or luxury estates or yachts.

  • Must both be legally eligible to work in the UK

  • Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and initiative

  • Confident drivers preferred (at least one with a clean UK license)

  • Excellent references and an up-to-date DBS check for both individuals​

 

The Estate

The estate is a private, well-managed country residence offering a structured and supportive work environment. The principals value high standards, professionalism, and longevity within their household team.

Senior Housekeeper – Private Residence

Henley (Outside London)

 

Location: Henley, UK

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

A prestigious private estate just outside London in Henley is seeking an experienced Senior Housekeeper to complement their established household team. The position carries senior responsibilities but remains a hands-on role, with the successful candidate expected to lead by example rather than title.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the existing team of housekeepers and wider household staff.

  • Maintain 5-star hotel-level standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout the residence.

  • Approach daily tasks with flexibility, proactivity, and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Support the wider household to ensure seamless service and a polished guest experience.

 

Requirements

 

  • Extensive experience in private households, luxury estates, or five-star hospitality environments.

  • High attention to detail and consistent service standards.

  • Adaptable, hands-on, and an effective team player.

The Estate

The property operates to the standards of one of the world’s leading safari hotels, also owned by the principal, with strict SOPs and guidelines in place to maintain a world-class environment.

Temp Housekeeper / Host – Private Family Holiday Home

Location: Bampton, Cumbria

Dates: 22nd December – 2nd January

 

A warm and welcoming family of six are renting a beautiful home in Bampton over the festive season and are seeking a friendly, efficient individual to assist with housekeeping and light hosting duties throughout their stay.

 

The property is not large, but the family values warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. You’ll be working alongside a private chef to ensure the home runs smoothly and guests are well cared for.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Daily housekeeping and general tidying of the home

  • Laundry and linen management

  • Supporting meal service and table setting

  • Providing warm, attentive hospitality to the family and guests

  • Coordinating with the chef and ensuring guest comfort

 

Details & Benefits:

 

  • Rate: £200 per day

  • Enhanced Rates: £400 per day on 25th, 26th & 1st

  • Accommodation: Not provided, but £100 per day will be paid towards local accommodation

  • Duration: 22nd December – 2nd January
